Mary's Agatha Christie Blog

Having launched the website This blog was created in response to the emails I received from other Agatha Christie fans telling me just exactly what they think about a wide-ranging selection of Agatha Christie related matters. My son David (see profile below) has very kindly offered to host the Agatha Christie blog for me, along side his forensic psychology blogs which you should check out if you get the chance - fascinating stuff.

Auction of Agatha Christie memorabilia

Yesterday’s auction of Agatha Christie memorabilia held at Greenway netted £303,000.00 – double the expected figure.

Good to know that a large part of the profits will go towards maintaining Greenway House which will eventually be open to the public. (The grounds are already open to visitors of course.)

Andrew Thomas of Bearnes of Exeter, the auctioneers who conducted the sale, said ‘Bidders turned out in force today and not only voted with their feet but also their wallets too in order to buy a piece of the Agatha Christie legend.’

Well said, Mr Thomas.
